Summer Essentials – My Summer Skincare And Haircare

Hey there beautiful!

Summerrr is here, finally!! 

I know it was July already, which means it kinda late to write a blog about summer must haves… Anyway, I still want to write this one just to let you guys know what products I use for skincare, haircare and other stuffs this summerrr.

Okay! Let’s jump right into it.

These are 10 beauty products that I’ve been using all this awesome summer

#1 – Suncreen

Talking about summer, sunscreen should be always your top priority! Here I use Shiseido Ultimate Sun Protection Lotion SPF 50 For Face/Body. The reason why I love this sunscreen is that it is very lightweight, water resistant, non-greasy and very easy to blend in. More importantly, this sunscreen protects your skin against harmful UVA/UVB rays. What more do we need?

#2 – Face Mist

I love using face mist, especially on hot summer days. This Evian Mineral Water Spray can remove harmful salt, or chlorine, instantly soothe and rehydrate sun-burned when you spent you summer on the beach or dive in a pool. Evian face mist can also set all you makeup in place. If you have sensitive or acne-prone skin, you don’t need to worry about using this on your face, because it can be used for all skin type. This one absolutely a thumbs-up!

#3 – Moisturizer & Body Lotion

You may think that your skin type is oily or acne prone then you’re not gonna need a moisturizer? Think again, ladies! All skin type need to be hydrated and moisturized. Here I use Shiseido Pureness Mattifying Moisturizer for oily or acne-prone skin. This moisturizer helps my skin control oil and stay hydrated. The more you skin is moisturized and hydrated, the less oily and shiny you skin get. It may sounds contradicted but trust me, that's true!

For body, I use Lancome Nutrix Royal Body for very dry skin. My skin, actually, doesn’t really that dry but when it come to summer or I’m going on a vacation to the beach, then my skin become very dry, especially the palm of my hand, my elbows, knees and legs. And this body lotion did its job very well, highly recommend for dry skin!

I've got this body lotion when I bought something from Lancome. Unfortunately, I can't find this one on Sephora, so you can use any of you favorite body lotions as alternatives.

#4  Deodorant

Of course, duh! In this super hot hot summer, deodorant is a must. I, specifically, really hate sweating except for the fact that you have to sweat when workout or jogging, so I literally use deodorant all the time! This Dove Deodorant Original is long-lasting, quick-drying that can protect you from wetness and odor.



#5  Haircare

As I was saying that my skin turns out to be very dry when I have a beach vacation, my hair is not the exception. Normally my hair is really dry, so I need this Schwarzkopf Extra Care Hair Repair with Liquid Keratin for very damaged and dry hair. I use this one after washing my hair, and spray it on when my hair still wet. Leave it a few minutes to absorb.

 
After blow-drying my hair, I use a little bit of CHI Silk Infusion to add more volumes and texture to my hair. I love this one because it  leaves my hair voluminous, beautiful, and delicately scented.

#6 – Lip Balm

Not just in summer that I use lip balm, I use lip balm every day and every time.  And here it is, Burt’s Bees Replenishing Lip Balm with pomegranate oil! This is a gift from my bestie Chi Nguyen, and it’s one of my favorite lip balms of all time. One more reason to love Burt’s Bees lip balm: Organic products – highly recommend for sensitive skin.

#7 – Concealer

I don’t like a heavy makeup on my face when I enjoy my awesome summer holiday, so I prefer wearing concealer to cover my imperfections to wearing foundation on my face. Here I use Make Up For Ever HD Concealer in shade 305 Porcelain. This color has deep pink undertones , in fact, not truly match my skin color which is more suitable for yellow undertones. So I have to wear Make Up For Ever HD Microperfecting Primer in shade 2 Mauve to correct my skin tone.

#8 – Fragrance – Summer scent for sure!

Here comes the best part: Summer Fragrance!! I love the scent of Flower By Kenzo eau d’été. It’s a vanilla, floral, powdery scent, which is very contemporary, iconic and just perfect for summer!

This one is a limited edition from Flower by Kenzo which I bought when I'm going on Singapore trip last year. So I will linked down below the original Flower By Kenzo eau de parfum which its scent is still cool and great for a summer fragrance to go!
